Audit Manager ( UAEN )
We are currently seeking a qualified UAE National to join one of our clients – a prominent financial institution – as an Audit Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing internal audit activities across various business functions, with a particular focus on banking operations and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the UAE banking landscape, excellent risk management skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality audit work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, execute, and manage risk-based internal audits across various banking functions.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.
Lead and mentor audit teams, ensuring timely completion of audit assignments and quality assurance.
Identify control gaps, assess risk exposures, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
Liaise with business units and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports for executive and board-level review.
Support external audits and regulatory examinations as required.
Stay updated on UAE Central Bank regulations and industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a UAE National (Emirati) with a Family Book.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in internal audit within the banking or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations and international audit standards (e.g., IIA).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CIA, or other professional certifications preferred).
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
