LNG - Trader
Our client, a globally recognized player in the energy and commodities sector, is seeking an experienced LNG Trader to join their expanding trading team in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of the global LNG markets who is ready to take on a high-impact position and play a key part in building and developing the LNG trading function from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute physical and/or derivatives LNG trades across international markets
Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities while managing commercial and operational risks
Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, buyers, shipping companies, and brokers
Monitor LNG market trends, pricing, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors
Manage end-to-end trading activities (contracts, logistics, chartering, delivery coordination)
Collaborate with risk, finance, operations, and analytics teams to support trading decisions
Contribute to the design and growth of the LNG trading desk as part of strategic expansion
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of hands-on experience in physical or derivatives LNG trading
Strong commercial acumen and proven track record of profitable LNG trades
Existing network across LNG markets including suppliers, traders, and shipping entities
Deep understanding of LNG pricing mechanisms, logistics, and contract structures
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help build a trading team and function
Excellent communication, analytics, and negotiation skills
